College of Nursing, AIIMS, Guwahati, will be welcoming its first class of 60 B.Sc. (Hons) nursing students on 1st August 2024. In due order, further nursing programs, such as the M.Sc. Nursing, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, and PhD programs will be launched.

Objectives

1. To train nurses for comprehensive, integrated evidence-based clinical and community care nursing, nursing supervision, nursing leadership, and administration.

2. To Train future Nurse academicians to teach and mentor undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate nursing students.

3. To equip clinical nurse leaders in acute and critical care nursing through fellowship in pertinent fields.

4. To equip nurses with the skills necessary to create original research writing that will enhance nursing administration, education, and services and ensure Evidence-Based Nursing Practices.

5. Foster excellence among faculty members in practice, research, teaching, and service.
