Anatomy is the basic foundation for Medicine that describes the structure of the human body. It has various subdisciplines like Gross Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, Clinical Anatomy, Radiological Anatomy, and Genetics. There is a lot of scope for research in cadaveric dissection, histology, neuroanatomy, embryology, and genetics.
1· To be recognized as a centre of excellence in providing and promoting international quality medical education.
2· To enhance the research in collaboration with paraclinical and clinical departments, both intra and inter institute.
3· To provide clinical diagnostic services for genetic disorders.
4· To provide Immunogenetic and Transplant Immunology services for the transplantation programs in the institute as well as to other institutions in the region.

5· To develop a state-of-the-art Anatomy Museum equipped with specimens, 3D models, plastination models, etc., that will enrich the learning experience.
