Department of Anaesthesia
The Department of Anaesthesiology, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine is an essential pillar of the institute and is committed to providing high-quality and comprehensive clinical care to patients while also contributing to the advancement of medical science through research. The Department is committed to providing high-skilled and safe anaesthesia services for a wide range of surgical specialties and subspecialties. The department is also well-equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and modern technology to provide advanced intensive care services to critically ill patients. In addition, the department is also running an interventional pain clinic successfully for a wide range of acute and chronic pain conditions.
Besides clinical services, the department is also actively involved in research and training programs. It conducts regular conferences, CME’s, workshops, seminars, and training sessions for medical students, residents, and practicing physicians to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of anaesthesia, critical care, and pain medicine. Teaching through Simulation is also practiced and encouraged by this department.
Vision
To be recognized globally as a Centre of Excellence in the field of anaesthesia, critical care, and pain medicine by providing high-quality clinical services, teaching, and research.
